Yes... there are toilets, electricity, heat and air conditioning in the castle.  At present there are two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, living room, dining area, terrace and turret providing nearly 1,500 square feet of luxurious living space.  It's certainly not like a tiny hotel room or guest cottage.  See our "Castle Update" page for what is happening at the castle in the way of improvements and amenities.

THE KITCHEN...  boasts stainless steel appliances, (refrigerator, dish washer, microwave, glass-top stove and oven), garbage disposal, breakfast bar, plenty of oak cabinets, coffee maker, toaster, electric can opener, blender, electric mixer, stocked spice rack, complete sets of pots, pans, bakeware, glassware, dinnerware, eating utensils, and gadgets galore.

DINING AREA... Heavy oaken table and chairs open for larger feasts.  A floor of hand-made stone tile.   Pewter drinking vessels to hold your mead.  Swords and maces adorn the wall, should an unwelcome knock come to the castle door.  Dragon candle holders light the way.  Fine ebony and silver, ornate eating utensils fit for a Lord or Lady.  What better place for feasting, drinking, and the making of much merriment.   

GREAT ROOM...  The warmth of wide-plank, pine flooring, and heavy wooden beams over-head, is only outdone by the warmth coming from the stone fireplace.  No minstrels, but for your entertainment, a large screen color TV (35") offering premium satellite programs, (HBO, Showtime, Cinimax, etc.),  complimented by a DVD/VCR player and a video library for your viewing enjoyment.  There is also a CD player, and a CD library for your listening enjoyment.  French doors lead out to the terrace, the view, rockers, hot tub, and gas grill. 

MASTER BEDROOM...  King-size mattress with fine Egyptian cotton bed sheets.  Enjoy the antique Bombay dresser and chest of drawers, wide plank pine floors, and the true colors of royalty.  You even get your own bathrobe to use while you are our guests.  And you have easy access to the hot tub in the turret, right outside your bedroom's French doors.  

MASTER BATH... The generous 9'x10' master bathroom includes a Jaccuzzi tub as well as a shower.  Copper fixtures throughout compliment the hand-hammered copper sink and copper ceiling.  Thick, soft and thirsty, Egyption cotton towels will caress your body as you step out of your bath, shower, or hot tub.  A built-in hair dryer and basic toiletries are provided.  Pink marble covers the floor and surrounds the Jaccuzzi tub. 
 
GUEST BEDROOM...  Wide-plank, pine floors compliment the antique pine, queen-sized bed and armoire... (should you choose to have guests).  Egyptian cotton sheets adorn this bed as well.  A set of French doors lead to the terrace and the beautiful mountain view.  And of course, the guest bedroom has it's own private guest bath.

GUEST BATH...  Hand-made, Olde World stone tile covers the floor.  The copper fixtures compliment the copper ceiling, hand-hammered copper vanity sink, and the copper wash that was hand-applied on the walls.  There is also an enclosed shower and tub.
 
TERRACE...  The terrace can be summed up in one word... view.  Whether it's the mountain view during the day, or the starry sky view at night... it is glorious.  We've provided a telescope for true star gazers.  On the master bedroom end is the turret and hot tub.  The turret is seventeen feet across, and the six-person hot tub is seven feet across.  There is also a gas grill and rockers.  A roof now covers the entire terrace.
