Castle McKenzie, Murphy, NC - Vacation Rental Rates

CASTLE GUEST CAPACITY: Is based on two people per bedroom. Since the castle guest wing has two bedrooms, the maximum rental capacity is four people.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS: We accept VISA, MC, PayPal, American Express and Discover for deposits and payment. A valid credit card is required to reserve the castle. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation with the balance due 30 days prior to check-in.   

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in time is normally after 2:00 p.m.

SMOKING: There is a NO SMOKING policy in the castle. An ashtray has been provided outside on the terrace for our smoking guests. Please discard all smoking materials in proper receptacles. We appreciate your help in keeping the property litter free.

HOT TUB USE: Please DO NOT bring any oils, bubble bath, rose petals, scents, etc., for use in our hot tub or Jacuzzi tub. And believe us... "non-staining" body oils DO stain bedding, and WILL damage the hot tub filter and pipes. You will be responsible for any hot tub repair costs or staining of bedding, should there be a problem.

PETS: We regret that there are NO PETS ALLOWED . We receive many requests from prospective guests for us to "verify" that our castle is indeed "non-smoking" and "non-pet", before they will book their visit. Some of our guests have allergies, and most are non-smokers, so it is a concern.

HIGH-SPEED INTERNET: We offer a Free high-speed Internet connection in the Guest Bedroom.  (Bring hook-up cable).

ENTERTAINMENT CENTER: The livingroom has a large High-Definition, Flat-Screen TV with cable hook-up, as well as a DVD and VCR Player. Movie rentals are available at the local WalMart Red Box in Murphy. There is also a CD Player for your listening enjoyment.  

We appreciate your cooperation and adherence to our policies and requests.

Our rates are based on two people in the castle guest wing per night. There is a two-night minimum, and extra charges apply for additional persons sharing the castle. There are no additional charges for use of the hot tub, high-speed Internet access, trash removal, linens, etc. Everything except taxes and a $65.00 per stay cleaning fee is included in our rates.

Charge Per Extra Person: $ 50.00 Per Stay - (Maximum of two extra adults allowed)

Minimum Nights Per Stay: Two Nights

Some Three-Day Holidays: Three Night Minimum (Call for details)

Rates do not include 7% NC State Sales Tax and 3% County Occupancy Tax = Total of 10% Tax.  There is also a $65.00 Cleaning Fee per stay.
